Our Story
Childhood in Najat’s home was a magical exploration of flavors homegrown in our plant pots. As Beirut hopped on the innovation wave, home grown food became a thing of the past and the residents of the city turned to surrounding villages (or day3a) for flavors of a time passed. Not Najat, though…She built an earthly heaven on her balcony, by replicating the magical healthy homegrown food experience that’s unique to the Lebanese ‘day3a’. She grew tomatoes, basil, flowers and even attempted growing peach trees in the classic brown pots! In memory of my mother, Najat, these jars present you with the same delicacies and rich tastebud adventure that I embarked upon in my childhood in her charming balcony garden, except this time we are getting them straight from the ‘day3a’
